Position Overview 

Our Project Manager works alongside the Operations Team, suppliers, subcontractors, and office staff. The Project Manager is responsible for multiple construction projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead planning meetings with Glaziers to ensure materials and equipment are acquired in a timely manner before project start using PO and administrative systems
  • Communicate with Glaziers on daily project progress
  • Manages issues and concerns, ensures quality, and drives project for on-time project completion
  • Understand the labor budget including breakdown by task, updating budgets, and assisting with progress billing
  • Create or purchase the submittals and gain product and method approvals
  • Manage and maintain schedules for multiple projects and regularly visit project sites
  • Maintain project binder and computer files
  • Ensure excellent company reputation throughout the completion of the project
  • Directly supervise Project Coordinator
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • 3 years of glass and glazing industry experience
  • 1 year of project management experience
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm with occasional overtime
  • Travel 50% of the time

  • Able to safely navigate job sites and adhere to safety standards
  • Able to use office equipment such as telephones, copy machines, fax machines, filing cabinets, etc.
